Infant toys Handover Ceremony

The occasion was graced by the Spanish Ambassador Alicia Moral and her colleague Anna where the Archdiocese of Harare Primary Schools where receiving toys that had been donated by the Spanish Embassy with the assistance of Fr. Joachin Bejar. The target group for the program were the infants that is the Early Childhood Development (ECD) pupils up to Grade 2.  The program under which these toys are distributed is called the Grow Up Playing foundation.

This was an initiative that the Founders of the Program came up with in order to curb the issues of absenteeism from school by the infants. Just like the saying goes, “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” therefore this was a way of making sure that children develop an attitude of looking forward to being in school. We are grateful for the support and the thoughtfulness by Fr. Joaquin Bejar and the Spanish Embassy.
