The workshop was organized by the Education Secretariat and took place at Rockwood Spiritual Centre. It was coordinated by Rev Fr. Opinion Kupara. The targeted group was the Catholic Ethos teachers in our various schools. The objective of this workshop was to explain primarily what ethos are and their impact on the creation of a particular identity.
Secondly, stressing the indispensability of Catholic Ethos in our schools. Thirdly, reviewing progress since the last workshop and lastly for all the Catholic Ethos teachers to meet and be empowered spiritually in that shared culture, beliefs, principles and attitude which defines what we refer to as Ethos.
Our work in Catholic education is more than using our professional skills in the service of others. In everything we do we will be ministering in the name of the Catholic Church. The different Ethos teams exchanged their experiences for the purpose of mutual enrichment. We look forward to conducting more workshops so as to enhance our Catholic culture and beliefs which define what our Ethos are.
